Rain: Thou shalt not covet the woman of your friend; It's a tough choice between Friendship and Love

Rain's first Japanese album was released on Wednesday this week, capturing the 6th position on the Oricon Charts - a testimonial to his uprising popularity in Japan indeed. On the other hand, he also announced his concert in Las Vegas, US coming December. He will also be meeting his Hong Kong fans when he is there for commercial publicity. It's no wonder he appeared all happy as he steped out of the car when he attended the BMW press conference two nights ago.

The short music movie "BMW meets truth" which featured Rain was screened during the press conference, during which, Rain discussed the short movie with his mentor and co-star, JY Park.

"BMW Meets Truth" is a combination of fast cars, movie and music. The short movie lasted for 30 minutes and is based on the main concept of "The truth of life". It speaks of love, friendship and loyalty. In the movie, leading actor Rain must rescue his girlfriend who had been kidnapped, but must make a choice between friendship and love. Rain said if his friend really did snatched his girlfriend, he may just kill his friend. But wehn asked if he'll go after the same woman as his friend, he replied, "Thou shalt not covet thou friend's woman", eliciting a round of laughter from the VIPs present.

As the music director and mentor of Rain, JY Park played the role of a traid leader in the movie. He said laugingly that filming's really tough, and he was covered with cold sweat after the shoot.

Rain visiting Hong Kong on 28th Sep

Additionally, Rain's manager in Hong Kong, Cheng Jiaying, confirmed that Rain will indeed be arriving in Hong Kong on 28th Sep to film a new commercial for the brand of make-up, DHC. Although he'll only be in Hong Kong for a few hours, he will be meeting the media on that day. The company is also busy with arranging for Rain's international fanclub. It is said the membership fee costs about HKD 400.
