Rain released World Cup Cheer Song

Singer Rain (24) recorded a World Cup Cheer Song. Rain's new cheer song is called "Go Forward" which was released on April 25th online. The song starts off with the playing of the traditional Korean instrument then the strong hip hop beats along with the guitar unify with Rain's strong rap to give us a very powerful and emotional feeling. As he shouts "Go Forward" and sings "Stand up once again and let's scream once again", the song just come into your ears and lingers there.

The song can be heard for free on the SBS homepage at http://tv.sbs.co.kr/entertainment_main.jsp. Along with the song being released, American Time Magazine nominated Rain as a cadidate for their poll under the "Artists and Entertainers" for the 100 Most Influential People of the year. The poll ended April 24th, US TIME, and Rain was ranked 2nd in the poll after the Oscar winning Director Ang Lee who directed "Brokeback Mountain".

This poll was hosted for the first time in TIME magazine history for the 100 most influential people list. The polls were separated into 5 different categories in order to see the reader's opinions on who was their most influential people of 2006. Since he was already a nominee in the top 50 of the 100, it is true that Rain will already be part of the issue of the magazine which announces the 100 list. Rain will be the first Korean entertainer to be included in this honor to be in the 100 Most Influential List. Rain is busy these days shooting his movie, "I'm a Cyborg, but it's ok" in Pusan South Korea.
